I bought it especially for cutting potatoes. It's very good, although it feels a bit fragile. Slice small potatoes very well with the smaller blades, medium potatoes with the larger blades. I liked it a lot.

I liked that the whole cutter is metal.
It worked well when cutting the carrot but you do have to apply force.
